Together with Adventure Cove Waterpark, Singapore Oceanarium (formerly SEA Aquarium Singapore) forms the Marine Life Park. It is a part of Resorts World Sentosa situated on the island of Sentosa in southern Singapore and featuring the most thrilling attractions. It began its story more than 10 years ago as Sentosa’s SEA Aquarium and became known and loved not just in The Lion City but far beyond its borders under this name. S.E.A. Aquarium Singapore

The South East Asian Aquarium (which was more commonly known as the SEA Aquarium Singapore) was one of the world’s largest aquariums and a place to see more than 100,000 representatives of sea life. Sentosa opened the doors of the SEA Aquarium in 2012. At the time, it was awarded the title of the world’s largest oceanarium and public aquarium. Its record was broken by Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in 2014.

SEA Aquarium had 7 themed zones. It offered various daily programmes, such as animal feeding, interesting lectures by aquarium specialists, guided tours, behind-the-scenes adventures, and photo sessions. It also offered its visitors the chance to get closer to dolphins and even become an aquarist for a day. Along with family-friendly dining and shopping.

It is worth noting that all SEA Aquarium tickets were part of charity missions. The oceanarium donated part of the proceeds to the Community Chest.

The S.E.A. Aquarium closed for extensive renovation on 30 April 2025. After 12 years of operations. To become even larger and ensure an even more exhilarating experience. The new Oceanarium in Singapore is all about combining education with adventure within one of the city’s most amazing attractions. Think giant tanks filled with sea creatures, interactive zones where kids can learn through play, and even holograms that bring prehistoric marine life to life.

You will find areas that explore the deep sea, coral reefs, and Singapore’s own coastal waters.
