Easter Activities for Kids and Egg Hunts in Singapore 2026

Share:

Easter is in Singapore. It sneaks up on you every year, and yet somehow it never gets old.

One week, the city is just doing its usual thing. Next, there are pastel decorations in every mall window, giant Easter eggs propped up outside hotel entrances, and your kids are already asking if the Easter Bunny knows their new address. It moves fast.

What makes Easter weekend worth circling on the calendar is how it brings people together without really trying. Families who have been ships in the night for most of the school term suddenly have four days and nowhere pressing to be. Some go to church. Some sleep in properly for the first time since January. Most end up wandering somewhere, stumbling into something fun, and wondering why they do not do this more often.

The dates this year work out nicely. Good Friday is 3 April 2026, a public holiday, so the long weekend kicks off early. Easter Sunday is 5 April. Holy week 2026 begins on 29 March, and a lot of the events in this guide start around that time. Do not make the mistake of assuming everything happens on the weekend itself. Several of the best ones run through the whole week.

The April school holidays land right on top of all this, too. No alarm on Monday morning. No Sunday night rush to find the missing PE kit. Just a stretch of free days that parents and kids can actually use.

This BusyKidd‘s guide covers everything worth knowing about Easter activities for kids in Singapore this year. We have gone through the big wildlife park experiences, the little community club afternoons, the brunches, the outdoor trails, and everything in between. There is a lot here. Grab a coffee, take your time reading through it, and get your bookings in early. Some of these sell out weeks ahead, and the good spots go first.

Easter Activities for Kids

Easter Eggs-travaganza at Mandai Wildlife Reserve

If you are looking for Easter activities for kids on a genuinely big scale, this is the one. Singapore’s largest Hot-Egg Balloon Gachapon, 100 larger-than-life egg installations, and complimentary child admission headline this year’s Easter Eggs-travaganza at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, running from 14 March to 12 April 2026.

This year it got even bigger. For the first time, the annual event extends across the entire precinct, from Bird Paradise and Mandai Wildlife West to the Eastern cluster, with activities at Curiosity Cove and Singapore Zoo.

One of the highlights is the Ranger Buddies Eggs-pedition at Bird Paradise. In this bingo-style egg hunt, the kids collect coloured Easter eggs hidden across the park while meeting the Ranger Buddies mascots, Al and Min. Complete the bingo card, and they earn a chance to spin on Singapore’s largest Hot-Egg Balloon Gachapon.

The prizes in that Gachapon are worth talking about. Prizes include stays at Mandai Rainforest Treehouse, Colugo Camp, GoPro HERO cameras, HONOR phones, and Cadbury treats, with a total prize pool worth up to $200,000.

There is also a sweet deal for local families. Children can enjoy complimentary admission to Bird Paradise with every full-paying adult during the promotion period. WildPass holders also receive retail and dining vouchers worth up to $10.

If you are staying over for the Easter weekend, guests at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree can enjoy a mini Easter egg hunt inside their Family Room, where finding the hidden egg unlocks a spin at the Hot-Egg Balloon Gachapon.

  • When: 14 March to 12 April 2026
  • Where: Mandai Wildlife Reserve (Bird Paradise, Singapore Zoo, Curiosity Cove)
  • Admission: From $27.20, kids enter free

Newtonshow Free Events

Free activities during the school holidays. That combination does not come around often. Newton Show Camp pulls it off every year. And 2026 is no different. Three themed festivals run across six locations around the island. Science Fest covers bubble experiments and slime workshops. Maker Fest goes into LEGO robotics and robo battles. Cooking Fest wraps it up with homemade pizza. Kids aged 3 to 12 can drop in for any session at no charge. Parents are welcome to stay or use the drop-off option. Book one session per child in advance. Spots fill up faster than you would expect.

  • When: 15 March to 5 April 2026
  • Where: Multiple locations
  • Admission: Free

Easter at Pororo Park & Tayo Station

Two parks. A whole month of programming. And a level of detail that puts a lot of bigger productions to shame.

Pororo Park Singapore and Tayo Station Singapore run their Easter celebrations all the way through April, which immediately sets them apart from the single-weekend crowd. If your kids are fans of Pororo or Tayo the Little Bus, this is the obvious first booking of the holiday.

The egg hunt runs on selected weekends and is tied to the Meet & Greet sessions, so the timing works naturally into an existing visit. Children can collect up to three eggs and trade them for chocolates. Simple, satisfying, and genuinely exciting for the age group these parks are built for.

The Great Golden Egg Quest is the standout. A magician casts a spell that turns everyone into hopping bunnies — crew members included — and the kids have to work together to find six hidden golden eggs and break it. It sounds theatrical on paper and it lands just as well in person. Young children who are still in that stage where the line between story and reality is delightfully blurry will be completely sold on every second of it.

For something quieter, the Easter workshop runs on weekdays throughout April. Kids paint and decorate their own Easter egg to take home. A nice one for the younger end who might find the bigger performances a bit much.

The Magic Show — Bunny-Tastic Illusions — runs on three dates only, so check the schedule before you go.

There is also an online giveaway running until 12 April. Spot the egg display in the park, guess the number, tag three friends, and you are in for a shot at a pair of tickets. Easy to enter and genuinely worth a few minutes if you are already following their Instagram pages.

  • When: 1–30 April 2026 (workshop weekdays); egg hunts and quests on 4–5, 11–12, 18–19 April
  • Where: Pororo Park Singapore & Tayo Station Singapore, Suntec City
  • Admission: Check park websites for session pricing

Family Egg Hunt at Children’s Museum Singapore

Family Egg Hunt at Children's Museum Singapore

This one differs from a typical Easter egg hunt in Singapore with a clever local touch. With a regional touch, Children’s Museum Singapore will host the Family Egg Hunt 2026. Young players join WonderBot on a dangerous mission as Little Hawker Heroes. Families must assist in the recovery of a priceless recipe book that contains the city’s most cherished regional flavors.

The task leads players through hawker-themed areas filled with anecdotes about Singapore’s food culture, practical difficulties, and hidden eggs. Along the process, children may learn a little bit about Singapore’s culinary tradition, and it is quite inventive. A delightful blend of local stories and Easter activities.

  • When: 21, 28 March, 3, 4 April 2026
  • Where: Children’s Museum Singapore, 23-B Coleman Street
  • Admission: $15 per adult, $25 per child; $70 for a family bundle (2+2)

Easter Egg Hunt at The Chevrons

A hundred eggs. One club. Good luck to the kids.

The Chevrons hides Easter eggs all across the premises every year and hands families a proper reason to explore every corner of the place. Easter Egg Hunt is the kind of hunt where the kids take it seriously and the parents end up getting quietly competitive too. Once the searching is done, the Easter Bazaar takes over the Atrium with festive treats and activities to keep everyone going a little longer. A solid Good Friday afternoon out that does not require much planning. Just show up, buy a ticket, and let the kids loose.

  • When: 4 April 2026, 2pm-4pm
  • Where: The Chevrons Rainforest, 48 Boon Lay Way
  • Admission: $5 per pax

Relay races. Colouring sheets. Egg decorating. And the sea right there in the background. The RSYC keeps their Easter party unpretentious and that is exactly why it works. Kids tear around during the relay races, wind down at the craft tables, then probably ask to do the races again. No big production. No wristbands and queuing systems. Just a decent afternoon out by the water with enough variety to keep children of different ages happy at the same time. If you live on the west side of the island, this one is a very easy yes.

Easter Piñata Event @ Tanglin Mall

Three metres tall. Stuffed with sweets and confetti. And at 4pm, someone hands a child a stick. That Easter Piñata Event is the reason this event pulls families back year after year. The build-up is half the fun though. Before the big moment arrives, there is an egg hunt, egg painting, mini piñata smashing for the little ones, and Easter-themed colouring and temporary tattoos. Free shows are scattered throughout the afternoon too. A dance-along session, a comedy circus act, and a magic show all get a turn. It is a full afternoon, not just a one-trick event. Get there early, find a good patch of floor near the atrium, and hold your spot. When that bunny finally goes down, you want to be close to the front.

Some families want a big ticketed event. Others just want somewhere nice to sit outside, eat well, and let the kids run around a little. Easter Fun at Canopy is firmly in the second camp. All five outlets are running an all-day egg hunt from 3 to 5 April 2026. The restaurants are garden-style, relaxed, and pet-friendly. Kids disappear into the hunt while parents actually get to finish a meal at a normal pace. The April Specials menu is worth ordering from too. Jurong Lake Gardens and HortPark are the pick of the five locations if you want a bit more greenery and breathing room. That said, any of the five will do the job nicely. Just book a table before the weekend arrives. Walk-ins over Easter tend to wait a while.

  • When: 3 to 5 April 2026
  • Where: All five Canopy outlets
  • Admission: Free with dining reservation

BLAS Easter Egg Hunt @ Hollandse Club

One of those community events that quietly earns a loyal crowd year after year. Kids take on a scavenger puzzle to track down hidden clues. Each clue leads them closer to a stash of real chocolate eggs ready to be exchanged and eaten. Families can also grab a complimentary plain or chocolate croissant and a boiled egg on arrival. A fuller breakfast upgrade is available, too. Adults get to sit back with a drink while the children do all the running. Every child goes home with a goody bag regardless of how many eggs they find. A warm, easy morning that never feels too hectic.

Plenty of room for active kids who struggle to stand still for long. Check the SAF Yacht Club website for the full activity rundown and to lock in a spot.

  • When: 15 March 2026, 10:30am to 12:30pm

Eggcellent Easter @ Siglap South Community Club

The egg hunt here is divided by age group. That one detail makes a real difference. Every child genuinely stands a chance, rather than the older kids sweeping up everything first. Only 30 spots are available per category, so it stays manageable and fun rather than chaotic. Beyond the hunt, there are board games for ages three and up. A best-dressed contest runs throughout with prizes for the most creative Easter outfits. Churros, ice cream, and candy floss keep everyone fuelled. A proper neighbourhood celebration with a warm, familiar feel. Register early. Each age group closes the moment it hits 30 children.

A $40 deposit per person is required at the time of booking.

Easter Brunch: Where to Take the Family

Let’s be honest. Easter Sunday deserves a proper meal. Not just toast and eggs at home, but something worth getting dressed up for. Something the kids will remember and the adults will actually enjoy sitting through. Singapore does Easter brunch well. Better than most cities, really. Here are the spots worth booking ahead for.

Four Seasons Hotel Singapore

Every family has that one Easter outing the kids keep bringing up for years. The one that somehow became a story. Four Seasons Hotel could easily be that.

Convivo at Four Seasons is laying on their Easter Brunch on 5 April. It runs from 12pm to 2:30pm. The kitchen leans Italian and pulls no punches. There is a live carving station. A cheese trolley worth lingering over. Fresh seafood arranged on ice. And a dedicated Kid’s Corner that actually keeps younger ones busy. Not just busy. Genuinely entertained. That means the adults get to eat slowly and finish a full sentence. Worth the price right there. From $199 per person.

Nobu Singapore takes a completely different direction on 4 and 5 April. Same hours. From $198 per person. The whole concept is Japanese-inspired buffet with a live teppanyaki station running through the service. Chefs moving fast, knives flashing, food coming straight off the grill. Kids stand there with their mouths open. Fresh sushi on the counter. Sashimi sliced to order. Hot dishes rotating throughout. Then right at the end, a whole room dedicated purely to desserts. Once the children notice that room exists, the savoury portion of lunch tends to wrap up very quickly.

Two places. Two totally different moods. Convivo for a long and lazy Italian afternoon. Nobu for the family that wants food and a show at the same time. Either way, book your table now. Easter weekend tables at both venues disappear well before April arrives.

Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel

Not every Easter brunch needs to cost a small fortune. Grand Copthorne Waterfront is the kind of place that gives you the full hotel experience without the sharp intake of breath when the bill arrives.

Food Capital’s Sunday Brunch runs eighteen live cooking stations. Eighteen. There is a dedicated kids’ area built in too, with drawing sessions, balloon sculpting, and a live magic show running through the afternoon. A live acoustic band plays in the background the whole time. It sounds busy but it never feels chaotic. The restaurant sits right alongside the Singapore River, which gives everything a relaxed, open-air quality that is hard to replicate indoors.

Pricing is straightforward. Adults pay $128. Children are $64. Kids five and under eat completely free. For a hotel brunch in Singapore, that is a genuinely fair deal. Book a window table if you can. The river view makes a good afternoon a great one.

Pan Pacific Orchard

A good pick for families who like their food with a Mediterranean flavour. Mosella at Pan Pacific Orchard offers a unique à la carte brunch buffet at $108 per adult and $54 per child, with tableside service of sharing plates. The hotel also runs an Easter festival featuring a bouncing castle, a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny, egg hunting, face painting, and board game activities, priced at $15 for adults and $7.50 for children.

Edge at Pan Pacific Singapore

This is your location if the children are more energetic than the grownups. The Sunday Funday breakfast at Edge includes a breakfast buffet, a live band, and a special Kids Play Area where kids may occupy themselves with toys, coloring pages, and cartoons. The brunch price is 50% off for kids between the ages of six and eleven. It truly makes for a simple afternoon. The adults eat healthily. The children vanish inside the play area. Everyone is victorious.

FAQ

What are the best Easter activities for kids in Singapore in 2026?

Mandai Wildlife Reserve is the big one this year. The Easter Eggs-travaganza takes over the entire precinct and there is genuinely a lot going on. Children’s Museum Singapore is brilliant if you want something more intimate and story-led. Wildlings at Dempsey and West Coast Park suits families who like their fun outdoors and a little muddy. Short on budget? The community club events at Cairnhill and Siglap South cost around $12 a head and punch well above that price.

Where can kids go for an Easter egg hunt in Singapore?

More places than you might expect. Mandai, Wildlings, The Chevrons, Children’s Museum Singapore, and all eight Little Farms stores are running hunts this year. Some cost a bit, some are completely free. Scroll back up through the listings and check the dates carefully. A few of them sell out well before the weekend arrives.

Is Good Friday a public holiday in Singapore?

It is. Good Friday falls on 3 April 2026 and it is a gazetted rest day. Schools are closed. Most offices shut. A lot of parents use it to kick off the long weekend a day early, which is a smart move.

What is open on Good Friday in Singapore 2026?

More than you would think. Malls stay open. Parks stay open. Most family attractions run as normal and a handful even put on special programmes specifically for that day. Mandai Wildlife Reserve, Gardens by the Bay, and several community clubs all have something going on across the full stretch of the long weekend.

Are there free Easter activities for kids in Singapore?

A few good ones. The Magic of Adventure Light and Music Show at Gardens by the Bay costs nothing beyond the standard garden entry fee. Little Farms runs a free egg hunt across all eight locations. Community club events are not free but they are very close to it. Around $12 per person is about as low as ticketed family events get in this city.

How long is the Easter long weekend in Singapore 2026?

Good Friday is 3 April. Easter Sunday is 5 April. Easter Monday lands on 6 April. The April school holidays sit right on top of all of this, so families are not just looking at a long weekend. It is a proper stretch of free days. Use them well.

What age is suitable for an Easter egg hunt?

Broadly speaking, anywhere from 18 months up to about 11 years old. Tiny ones do best at smaller, gentler events. Little Farms and the community club hunts are calm enough for toddlers. Older kids want something with a bit more challenge and competition. For them, Mandai and Wildlings are the better fit. Every listing in this guide includes an age recommendation, so check those before you buy tickets.
