In anticipation of SAF Day on July 1st, families can explore Singapore’s military heritage through interactive activities at the Discovery Centre.

Children can enjoy a variety of free activities, such as an outfield camp experience and an obstacle course designed to introduce them to basic soldiering skills. Whether your child dreams of being a soldier or simply loves adventure, head to the Singapore Discovery Centre for an exciting Basic Military Training-inspired experience!

Army Experiential Programme

BMT Singapore Discovery Centre for families

Join the Army Experiential Programme to get a taste of outfield camp life. Kids can don camouflage paint, set up basha tents, and even sample MREs (Meals, Ready-to-Eat). It’s a hands-on opportunity to experience what soldiers go through in the field.

Survival Obstacle Course

Children can push their limits at the Survival Obstacle Course, an inflatable version of the army’s Standard Obstacle Course. Suitable for kids over 6, it offers a fun and challenging way to race to the finish line.

Own Time, Own Target, Fire! (Foam Blaster Challenge)

Ready, aim, fire! Kids can test their aim with child-friendly foam blasters in this exciting shooting challenge.

Armoured Artisans & Exercise Bootprint (Craft & Trail)

Kids can engage in creative activities by building their own battle tanks in the Armoured Artisans craft session. Afterward, they can participate in Exercise Bootprint, a trail that offers a glimpse into the life of a soldier.
