Singapore’s First Art-Led Tribute to Kobe Bryant on Mamba Day 2025

And that’s exactly his life’s vision and mission that continues to help people find themselves – and avoid losing what they have found – to this day. To remember and honour the legendary Black Mamba, people in various parts of the world observe Kobe Bryant Day, also known as Mamba Day, on 24 August. And this year, The Lion City joined this very special event and held Singapore’s First Art-Led Tribute to Kobe Bryant on Mamba Day 2025. On 24 August 2025, the milestone event was held at AiRENA. From Special Merchandise Drops to Exclusive Kobe Memorabilia Showcase – the organisers prepared many dedicated activities and surprises. Of course, this happening also included the Parent-Child Basketball Game in memory of Kobe & Gianna Bryant. Yes, the winners of the game got amazing, memorable prizes. However, the main highlight of this day was the unveiling of the Kobe Bryant Sculpture by the contemporary artist Jahan Loh.
