The magic of Christmas has arrived at Gardens by the Bay! The 11th edition of Christmas Wonderland, Singapore’s largest yuletide event, officially opened. Happening from 29 November 2024 to 1 January 2025, this year’s Christmas Winter Wonderland in Singapore edition promises more sparkle, fun, and surprises for everyone.
Presented by Trip.com and organised by Blue Sky Events, Christmas Wonderland has become a must-visit festive highlight. It’s not just loved locally – even CNN called it one of the world’s best Christmas markets!
This year, visitors can enjoy 14 brand-new light installations at Christmas Wonderland, including a trio of adorable Merry Bears, the enchanting Bluebell Lane, and a stunning mixed-media display called Odette’s Dance. The ‘snowfall’ experience is also stepping up its game. Blizzard Time now features a magical soundtrack by Singaporean composer-conductor Dr Darius Lim. Blizzard Time will occur daily after each Christmas Wonderland’s Garden Rhapsody light and sound show.
The Christmas Wonderland’s entertainment line-up is bigger and better, too! Look forward to performances by local singers, festive flash mobs, and 50% more choral shows than last year. Plus, don’t miss the mesmerising Northern Lights at the Christmas Wonderland’s Borealis show, happening every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
And yes, all your favourites are back. Walk through the dazzling Spalliera, a massive light structure inspired by Italian Gothic architecture. At 20 metres tall, it features 100,000 handcrafted bulbs that will leave you in awe. Stroll through the Christmas Wonderland Walk of Lights, a 50-metre-long illuminated tunnel, or snap photos with Santa at his new home Christmas Wonderland Santa’s Village.
There’s plenty to eat, play, and shop too. Ride the one-of-a-kind double-storey Venetian horse carousel, a magnificent highlight at winter Christmas Wonderland in Singapore. For even more thrills, hop on the CDG Zig Express Christmas Train for a delightful one-way trip to the next station at just $8 per person. Gardens by the Bay Christmas Wonderland Light Show
The Gardens by the Bay light show is something you have to see. It happens at the famous Supertree Grove every evening. The Gardens by the Bay light show makes the Supertrees light up with music. It’s free, and you can watch the Gardens by the Bay light show at such times: 7.45 pm, 8.45 pm, and 9.35 pm. Tickets start from S$9 for adults and S$7 for children (3-12 years old), with four sessions daily starting at 6.30 pm.
During Christmas, the Gardens by the Bay light show looks even more amazing. The whole park is full of bright lights, and the Supertrees shine even more. It’s a great place to take family photos. Make sure you catch the Gardens by the Bay light show. It’s a fun and unforgettable experience!
